OUR STORY

SpencerGreen are two songwriter/musicians that worked the Australian music scene throughout the 90s and 2000’s.

After winning several major band competitions in their own respective school bands Prestige Fixx and Images both launched healthy musical careers supporting some of Australia’s largest bands on the circuit for many years. Spencer also spent years fronting The Cure’s tribute band Lovecats.

Being lifetime friends and coming together musically SpencerGreen have recorded their debut album together, aptly named Find Your PEACE. An impressive collection of songs capturing their unique modern authentic sound passionately influenced from the 80’s and 90’s.

​

Their first single Raging Fire is a high energy terse pub rock feel. The second single to drop, Weary, is a moody hypnotic mantra that leaves you silent and in thought. Tony's favourite is the haunting simple ballad, Holy Ghost.

​

With intelligent lyric writing, each song uses playful like melodies that arouse the senses. Supported by a strong back end the songs are both catchy and moving.

​

Every song feels like a soundtrack to the rollercoaster of mood we live through. There is a darkness, a sadness together with hope and light resonating throughout the lyric and melodies.

Definitely an album for high rotation….
